With the 2016 Summer Olympics set to kick off on Friday, plae is getting into the spirit with the launch of a new, limited-edition Summer Games capsule collection.
To promote the collection, the San Francisco-based children’s brand has partnered with U.S. Olympian Amy Chow, a member of the Magnificent Seven women’s gymnastics team who took home the gold medal in
the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. Chow, now a pediatrician and mother of two, stars in a series of five “Golden Tips” videos for plae, designed to inspire kids and families to get outside and play this
summer. Each video has a different theme — such as stretch, sleep and win — and will debut over the next several days on plae’s Facebook and YouTube platforms.
